What is VEX?

VEX Robotics Competition is a robotics program mainly targeted to middle school and high school students.VEX is one of the most fastest growing robotics program globally more than 20,000 teams from 50 countries. Each year there is always a new challenge in a form of a game. Students all work to build and innovate robots to compete in the challenges. VEX Robotics helps students to learn valuable engineering skills for real-life skills such as teamwork, management, critical thinking, and collaboration as well as helps students to become future innovators.

This year's challenge: 2022-2023 Spin Up

VEX Robotics Competition Spin Up is played on a 12’x12’ square field configured as seen above. Two (2) Alliances – one (1) “red” and one (1) “blue” – composed of two (2) Teams each, compete in matches consisting of a fifteen (15) second Autonomous Period, followed by a one minute and forty-five second (1:45) Driver Controlled Period. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by Scoring Discs in Goals, Owning Rollers, and Covering field tiles at the end of the Match.

Our Team

Our teams have been in the VEX Robotic Competition since 2019. Our team is fairly new and is made up of two sub-teams Team A and Team B.
